Chippendale Walnut Slant Front Secretary Desk, associated upper and lower sections. The flat top over a pair of blind doors to upper section, drop front desk to lower section, with one long between two short drawers, over two short drawers, over two drawers of ascending depth, all within cased base on bracket feet. The doors and drop front revealing two prospect doors, amidst shelves and one short drawer, to upper section; and amidst various pigeon holes, drawers and corner storage. Gilt brass escutcheons, handles and pulls.

Mellow color and patination throughout. Loss to finish due to old sticker removal, front upper right of fall front. Section of back upper unit toward base with loss and repair to lower case just below this area. Loss of veneers to fall front and upper right corner of lower case, damage and loss to veneers to lower drawer front, various cracks, old repairs, surface wear and scratches.
