Chinoiserie Black Lacquered and Painted Cabinet, 20th Century. The rectangular cabinet is finished in a deep black lacquer and decorated with brightly colored Chinoiserie motifs on the front, sides, and top. The two hinged doors are painted with elaborate symmetrical medallions incorporating stylized lotus, scrollwork, and geometric borders in red, blue, green, and gold tones. Additional patterned bands frame the edges, and metal fittings secure the corners and door fronts. {Approximate dimensions - overall: 30 1/4 H x 23 1/8 W x 11 1/8 D inches}.
