Chinese White Silk Embroidered Shawl, the off white field finely embroidered in same color threads with figures of women in pavilions, gardening, on benches in gardens, playing instruments, horses, and other animals, all within densely stitched flowering and foliated trees, shrubs, and plants; all surrounded by a border of flowers, moths, birds, etc. Band of crocheted netting issuing fringe. Circa 1900. {Approximate dimensions - overall: 78 x 78 inches}.

Very good condition, minor stains, pin holes, loose threads and a few absent fringe threads.
