Chinese Oxblood Glazed Porcelain Vase. Of compressed globular form with flared mouth, covered overall in a deep sang-de-boeuf glaze, thinning slightly toward the rim to reveal the pale porcelain body beneath. The interior glazed white. The base bearing an apocryphal Kangxi mark. {Approximate dimensions: height 8 1/8 inches}.
