Two Chinese Guan-type vessels: a vase and a hexagonal planter, both with crackled celadon glaze and thick, dark brown rims. Incised inscription to planter underside. Underside of vase also painted with the dark brown. {Vase 10 1/8" high (25 1/2 cm), planter 6 1/4" diameter (16 cm)}.
Due to thick application of glaze, there are some additional glaze hairlines to both items. Surface wear and scratches.
