Cast gilt bronze figure of a seated Buddha shown in meditation, with hands held in dhyana mudra. The figure is depicted with downcast eyes, elongated earlobes, and tightly curled hair surmounted by a raised ushnisha. The robe is modeled with softly articulated folds draped across the torso and legs. The figure is seated atop a tiered lotus pedestal with clearly defined petals. The reverse is engraved with a six-character mark. {Approximate dimensions: height 20 inches}.

Overall patination and surface wear are consistent with age and handling.
