Chinese Ge Type Crackle Glazed Vase Converted to a Table Lamp. The vase of ovoid form, covered overall in a pale grayish-cream crackle glaze, exhibiting a dense network of fine crackle throughout. The vessel mounted as a table lamp with later metal socket, harp, and wooden base, the original vase forming the lamp body. {Approximate dimensions: vase height 8 inches; overall height 25 inches with lamp fittings}.
