Chinese Famille Rose Vase, of baluster form with a broad rounded body rising to a tapering neck flanked by stylized animal-form handles. The exterior is finely enameled with lively depictions of luohan (arhats) in varied poses, engaged in animated interaction within a continuous landscape setting. The figures are rendered with expressive features and individualized character, demonstrating a narrative approach to figural decoration.

The imagery draws inspiration from earlier pictorial traditions, particularly the celebrated Five Hundred Arhats by the Ming dynasty painter Wu Bin (active circa 1591–1626), whose compositions are known for their dynamic arrangements and idiosyncratic portrayals of Buddhist saints (see: Cleveland Museum of Art, accession no. 1971.16， https://www.clevelandart.org/art/1971.16).

The base bears a mark reading “Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi” (Made in the Qianlong period of the Qing dynasty).
