Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Double Gourd Vase on Stand. The porcelain vase is modeled in a double-gourd form, supported on a fitted wood stand. The exterior is decorated overall in famille rose enamels against a dense pink ground of scrolling lotus and foliate motifs, interspersed with stylized clouds and floral sprays. The neck and waist are encircled by geometric and ruyi-form borders in turquoise, yellow, and iron red. The vase is fitted with a pair of gilt loop handles, each suspending a red enameled ring.
