Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Brush and Vase Stand.
Rectangular porcelain stand with raised central cylindrical holder and multiple circular apertures on the upper surface, the exterior painted in famille rose enamels. Decorated with figural scenes of scholars and attendants in garden landscapes with pine and flowering plants. The upper register with a circular recess and calligraphic inscription above. Edges outlined in iron-red and gilt accents. {Approximate dimensions: height 6 5/8 inches; width 7 7/8 inches; depth 4 1/4 inches}
Condition
Surface wear, scattered glaze wear and staining, particularly around the apertures and edges; minor firing imperfections consistent with manufacture.
