Chinese Export Porcelain Rose Medallion Plates for the Persian Market, Etc., comprising a dish with Arabic inscription reserved on the rim, three dishes with gilt ground rims, and with dense flowers, moths, birds, butterflies, insects in reserves and scattered, all painted in polychrome enamels and gilding with Mandarins in gardens, interiors, at pursuits. Late Qing Dynasty, Daoguang Period. Circa 1830-1850.
{Approximate dimensions: Plates range in diameter from 7 5/8" to 9 15/16".
Condition
Good condition, surface wear, some abraded gilding, and wear to enamels, some rough rims and foot rims.
