Chinese Export Black Lacquered and Painted Dragon Table. The round table is constructed of wood and finished with a black lacquered ground, painted with a central dragon amid scrolling clouds on the top surface. The apron is decorated with landscape scenes and geometric borders in red and gilt tones. The table stands on four curved legs joined by a shaped cross stretcher. {Approximate dimensions: height 25 inches x width 26 inches}.

Surface wear, scattered losses to paint and lacquer, and areas of abrasion consistent with age and use.
