Chinese Carved Wood Dragon and Deity. Comprising: a carved four-clawed dragon atop a base holding a pearl, with a fierce expression, bulging eyes, and a long protruding tongue melting into the base, the body carved with scales and a thick mane; a carved Shakyamuni Buddha draped in fine robes standing on a lotus base, with a serene expression and her hair in tight curls rising to the ushnisha. {Largest dimensions: 18 1/4" height x 3 7/8" wide x 3 1/4" deep (46.3 x 9.8 x 8.2 cm)}.
