Chinese Carved and Polychrome Painted Stone Buddhist Head with Crowned Figures. 

The carved stone head depicting a Buddhist figure with a serene expression, downcast eyes, arched brows, and elongated earlobes. The figure wears an elaborate headdress carved in high relief and decorated with multiple seated Buddhist figures arranged within a central niche and along the sides. The central figure seated with hands joined in front of the chest, flanked by attendant figures. The crown further ornamented with scrolling foliate elements and a small winged or bird-like motif above the forehead. {Approximate dimensions: height 25 1/2 inches}
