Chinese Canton Glazed Charger with Phoenix and Sun Motifs. Vividly decorated in rich Canton enamels with a pair of phoenixes standing amidst peonies, rocks, and blossoming foliage, all rendered in densely layered polychrome tones. Birds, butterflies, and scattered floral sprays enliven the scene, with a radiant sun motif rising above. {Diameter 13 1/2 inches}.
