Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Moon Flask Jar. Of flattened circular moon flask form with a short cylindrical neck and everted mouth rim, flanked by a pair of small loop handles at the shoulders. Painted in underglaze blue on a pale ground with a dragon in motion amid stylized clouds, enclosed within a shaped panel.
The neck decorated with bands of scrolling ornament and a Greek key border, with additional decorative bands encircling the shoulder and base. {Approximate dimensions: height 11 3/4 inches}
