Charles Frederick Surendorf (American, 1906-1979), five linocuts, consisting of two New Orleans, two Tahiti, and another; (i) "Night in New Orleans," 1949, edition of 100, plate: 12" H x 8" W, sheet: 16 5/8" H x 11 7/8" W;  (ii) "Driftwood," (iii) "Mississippi River," edition of 100, sheet: 11" H x 14" W; (iv) "Tahitian Village," edition illegible, plate: 11" H x 14 1/4" W, sheet: 13" H x 15 1/2" W, and (v) "Fish Nets - Tahiti, edition of 100, plate: 10" H x 13" W, sheet: 11" H x 15 3/4" W; edition of 100, sheet: 15" H x 11 1/2" W. All are titled, with edition, signed, and one dated in pencil at low margins.

Dimensions provided are based on approximate measurements. All are taped onto backboard. (i) Minor discoloration and sheet trimmed at right side. (ii) Sheet shows slight crease at left side. (iii) Sheet shows creases at corners. (iv) Abrasions at top center, tear lost at bottom right. All are matted and show wear: (i) 19" H x 14" W, (ii) 22 5/8" H x 17 1/2" W, (iv) 14" H x 19" W, and (v) 14" H x 19" W. and Backboard has wear: (iii) 12 1/4" H x 17 1/2" W.
