Burmese Wooden Statue of Two Buddhist Deities. The two figures carved in similar pose in dhyanasanawith right hand in bhumisparsa mudra and left hand resting on lap in meditation, the larger size figure wearing stylized robe and a three layered pointy ushnisha, smaller size figure has a more simple ushinisha and robe, the robe draped over left shoulder revealing the right shoulder and chest, the two figures seated on a raised lotus plinth, backed by an flame shaped aureola carved in details depicting another seated deity surrounded by further shrines. {Height: 34 inches (86.4 cm)}.
