Bloor Derby Porcelain Partial Tea Set with Named Landscapes, the teapot of rounded, oblong Bute shape, with oval underplate, a rounded rectangular conforming sugar box and cover, and creamer. All painted with extensive "Florentine" gilt scrolling and foliate patterns, with polychrome painted topographical scenes in oval reserves to body sides. Teapot with scenes of "ln Scotland," and "In Italy," the teapot stand with "Near Binbrook, Linconshire," the sugar with "Near Reading, Berkshire," and "In Wales," and cream jug with "Near Bonsale, Derbyshire," and "Near Naples."

The painting attributed to Robert Brewer. Each with iron red crown, crossed batons, dots and D in script. 18 and 31, the painters's numbers, to underside of each. Circa 1810 -1815.

John Brewer and his younger brother Robert both painted at the Derby factory, albeit at this date of manufacture, only Robert was active. 

Good condition overall. All with the fine and light crazing characteristic of Bloor Derby porcelain. Teapot with Y shaped crack to body side; and a hairline to lower spout as well as drain holes. Cover to sugar broken in two pieces and professionally glued back together, and overpainted, now visible.
