Aubusson Style Singerie Rug Woven with Monkey Theme, woven in shades of brown, tan, off-white and green on the pale green field, with monkeys holding grapes, bananas, and by large bowls for fruit, and holding urns. The center woven with seated monkeys within diamonds shaped by leaves, and the corners with palm trees.
{Approximate dimensions: 8' 9" x 5' 7 1/2".}.
Condition
In good condition with minor wear overall. Some small, subtle spot stains, stray marks, areas of minor discoloration, minor pilling. Please contact the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
