Attributed to Frances Adler Elkins Pair of Shell Form Sconces, plaster, the backs with mounting holes. 

{Approximate dimensions: 9" H. x 24 1/2" W. x 8 1/2" D.}. 

Frances Adler Elkins (American,1888 - 1953). Elkins designed the interior of the Zellerbach Residence, San Francisco, with smaller sconces, more conch like in form.

Request Condition Report

Some signs of wear, primarily to interiors and backs and primarily to one sconce. Includes some chips, nicks, hairline cracks, scratches, dust, discoloration. Texturing as made. Please contact the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
