Attributed to Guy Rose (American, 1867 - 1925), Storm Breaking, 1918, [approximate dimensions - canvas: 18" H x 22" W], signed and dated lower left; label and artist name on stretcher bar at verso; plaque with artist name recto.
Condition
Two abrasions along top (about 4 1/2") and down left side (about 12" long) with minor paint loss, overall paint appears thin possibly from previous cleaning, varnished, and inpaint under UV light. At verso, dirt pockets and areas of repair. Framed: 25 3/8" x 28 3/4. Ask Fine Art Department for additional photos.
