Attributed to Clarence Keiser Hinkle (American, 1880-1960), Landscape with Steam Locomotive, oil on canvas, [approximate dimensions - sight: 15 5/8" H x 18 5/8" W, canvas: 16 1/8" H x 19" W], indistinctly dated '49' and signed 'hinkle' lower left.
Condition
Surface dust and dirt, varnish aged, minor abrasions, and no visible inpaint under UV light. Possible graphite mark in lower left area; Dirt pockets and foxing verso. Framed: 20 5/8" H x 23 5/8" W.
