Provenance: This painting was acquired by the client’s mother directly from the artist in Puerto Montt, Chile, situated in the Southern Chile Lake District, renowned as the gateway to the Andes Mountains and the Patagonia Fjords. The purchase took place during a visit to the artist’s studio in late 1959 or early 1960. The consignor’s mother remained the sole owner of this piece until it was passed down to them.
