Art Deco Bronze After Chiparus, "Pyjama Girl". Demetre Chiparus (Romanian, 1886-1947); bronze figure of woman wearing pajamas, stretching pose; black marble base with light brown veins, plaque to front with cat stretching. {Approximate dimensions: 18 1/2" high.}.
Condition
Marble with chip loss to base, also with round cutout loss which may have held a small plaque, possibly with foundry information. Scratches to base edges. One hand with repaired chip and re-glued.
