Probably Burmese or Siamese, Late 19th–Early 20th Century
Comprising a lidded box and a tripod bowl. Both are finely worked in silver or silvered metal with dense chased and repoussé floral and foliate ornament, characteristic of Southeast Asian metalwork. The lidded box is of circular form, the cover centered with a recumbent deer enclosed within a beaded medallion and surrounded by scrolling floral decoration. The tripod bowl has a broad circular form raised on three short lotus-bud feet, with the exterior similarly decorated with continuous floral scrolls and geometric borders.

Box: Diameter 4 3/8 in. (11.1 cm).
Bowl: H 2 5/8 x Diameter 9 3/8 in. (6.7 x 23.8 cm).
