The large-scale Thai Buddha depicted seated in dhyanasana, with the right hand lowered in bhumisparsha mudra, the gesture of calling the earth to witness his truth and resist temptation, and the left hand resting in the lap. The serene face framed by elongated earlobes and tightly curled hair, the robe and headdress richly decorated with raised foliate ornament and inset colored and mirrored glass, all supported on an integral shaped base. {H 43 x W 42 x D 26 inches}.
Condition
