A Chinese Yuan Style Wucai Porcelain Plate. The large circular porcelain charger is decorated in the wucai palette, depicting a scholar figure standing beside a table with a censer, set within a landscape with flowering plants, rocks, and a willow tree. The cavetto and scalloped rim are embellished with alternating floral and foliate panels in iron red, green, turquoise, and underglaze blue. The underside features a wide unglazed foot ring and a painted border of stylized motifs. {Approximate dimensions: diameter 17 1/8 inches}.

The surface shows general wear consistent with age and handling, with areas of glaze abrasion and firing irregularities visible on the underside.
