The boat is worked in layered openwork relief featuring a central architectural deck structure with rooftop elements, scrolling waves along the hull, and prominent dragons forming the prow and sides. Suspended jade bells, small pendant ornaments, and a linked decorative chain hang from the vessel, contributing to its vertical visual emphasis. The masts rise to a narrow upright finial with additional dragon-head carving and a lotus-form base connection.
