19th Century Jose Cunha Majolica Palissy-Ware Plate. Jose Alves Cunha (Portuguese, 1849 - 1901); depicting frog, snake, lizard, butterflies, and worms. The underside with "JOSE A. CUNHA PORTUGAL CALDAS RAINHA" oval mark. {Approximate dimensions: 3 1/4" high x 9 1/4" diameter.}. Provenance: Austin Hills. Bonhams November 3, 2003, lot 2533. Condition: Some minor chip losses to grass. Some minor crazing.
