19th Century Continental Painted Fan. Red lacquered frame with painted paper fan, in giltwood frame. {Approximate dimensions of frame: 14 1/2" high x 23 1/4" wide.}. Condition: Has not been inspected outside the frame. Silk backing to frame with foxing and wear. Fan with some rubbing to gilt. paper with some lifting and minor foxing, several small tears.
