19th Century French Japy Freres Gilt Bronze and Marble Mantel Clock. Gilt bronze and white marble clock, reclining allegorical female figure with putto holding fish to one side, and two doves perched on quiver opposite, on a carved giltwood base with blue velvet top; pendulum included. The movement reverse with Japy Freres mark. {Approximate dimensions: 18 1/4" high x 21" wide x 8 1/4" deep.}. Condition: Has not been tested, working order is not guaranteed. Minor surface wear to clock with some scuffs to bronze edges. The dial with enamel loss and repair around winder holes. Some wear to velvet on base and light chipping to giltwood.
