18th Century French Provincial Chest of Drawers. Serpentine front, three drawers, shell carved decoration, bronze pulls. {Approximate dimensions: 38 1/4" high x 53 1/2" wide x 28" deep.}.

Significant repairs and restoration throughout. Overall wear is appropriate given age. Previous insect damage.

Warren Kopp and Paul Hardman were interior designers who owned an antique shop and interior decorating studio in the 1950s and 1960s.  In 1957, they bought the Talbot-Dutton House, now landmarked, where they set up an apartment as an homage to great French style.
