10 Cent Coin Op Rocket Ride, two section ride, user inserts dime into bank, base mechanism rocks the rocket ride. Circa 1940 - 1949. Later amendments to design have been made, so the rocket could hang from Haunted Castle building, Santa Cruz PIer.

Ship and base now fully disconnected, steering wheel and base pad loose, surface wear, front left black "power" now broken, piece present. Surface wear, scratches, rust to base and some metal parts. Functionality: not tested. Michaan's Auctions recommends replacing the electric cord.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is recognized as the best seaside park in the world. The vibrant, bustling amusement park is renowned for its great rides, remarkable history, spectacular beach setting, and friendly attitude. Dating back to 1907, the Boardwalk is the last of the great seaside amusement parks remaining in the United States and home to two National Historic Landmarks – the 1911 Looff Carousel and 1924 Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster. The entire property is also a State Historic Landmark.
